SARAH MEGAN THOMAS

As an actress, producer, and writer, Sarah has always had a mission to tell stories about strong, complex women.  She starred opposite James Van Der Beek in the sports film BACKWARDS, which was released in select theaters nationwide, as well as On Demand, Netflix, DVD, etc. Disney is licensing the film internationally. She also produced and wrote the film. Sarah plays an up and coming executive vying for a promotion in the first female driven Wall Street movie,  EQUITY. Sarah has been seen in numerous other films (including a leading role in the festival darling THE LITTLE THINGS), television shows, and National commercials.

She has been interviewed on many talk shows/networks, including The
Today Show, CNN, and Fox.

On stage, Sarah produced several Off-Broadway plays that were supported by the Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust, including the New York premiere of "Summit Conference" extended twice due to popular demand and rated "Don't Miss"by Time Out Magazine.

Classically trained, Sarah starred in the gender reversed "Love's Labour's Lost" reviewed by The New York Times as: "Once you hear Berowne's (Sarah Megan Thomas') immortal cry of longing, ''Oh my little heart!'' spoken by a woman you may wonder why Shakespeare didn't think of that."

Sarah is a graduate of Williams College, and received a graduate degree in acting at Drama Studio London.
